Buy it!

Excellent absorbancy. Comfortable except that whether this is air-dried or thrown in the dryer, it tends to fold up. However, placing it in a heavy book helps it stay flat. I was surprised how easy it was to use, especially since there are two inserts. When my flow is light, I use just one of the inserts (like a pantiliner), it tends to stay in place. It's also odd but amazing to feel by own blood when I wash my cloth!

They work but...

  • By: ColorfulComfortableWoman Verified Buyer from Boston, MA US on March 2, 2013

I have the liners in both the orangic undyed and in a standard color/pattern. I give the standard ones 5 stars and a super high recommendation. I ordered the organic undyed ones as I needed some white ones for when wearing light clothes. And they work for that and are absorbent. But... They are SOOOO stiff. Even after several washing. They are more comfortable than disposable pads, but far less comfortable than the standard pads Gladrags offers. And they are bulky and hard to put on and take off. Finally, they curl so severely in the washer/dryer that they must e ironed after every washing in order to be wearable. If you need some white/light pads, get a few of these, but then get mostly standard ones for the rest of the time.

Eco friendly and comfy to wear

  • By: Gingersnapz Verified Buyer from Orono, ME US on February 25, 2013

It's great to be able to purchase an eco-friendly alternative made in the US! They can be bulky, but all together comfortable to wear. There has not been a single time since I started using them that blood has leaked through. Unbelievably absorbent. Would love if there were multiple metal clips to adjust how tight or loose they fight your undies.

Excellent Product

  • By: MommyRN Verified Buyer from Oxford, IN US on March 7, 2013

I purchased these for myself and my 13 year old daughter. They are very comfortable to wear and give me peace of mind for the safety of my daughter. I don't want her using chemical filled products! These pads are easy to wash and we haven't had any issues with stains. They are wonderfully absorbent and the snap holds them firmly in place. We are very happy with them and we will be using these from now on!

These are okay.

  • By: Ducky Verified Buyer from Houghton, MI US on August 25, 2012

These pads don't work very well for me on heavy days. I don't like that the inserts are sometimes a significant bit shorter than the holders (seems to create more leakage for me, even staggering the inserts). I use them as back-up to my menstrual cup or at the end of my cycle.

A Must Buy!

  • By: Desert Ocean Verified Buyer from Tucson, AZ US on November 10, 2012

I absolutely love these pads. I've been using them for years and they're wonderful. So much kinder to my skin than the disposables and more dependable, too!

Great item

  • By: GA Verified Buyer from Chicago, US on October 19, 2012

These pads are durable and 100% cotton (the ones I had before have a plastic lining). They do the job for regular flow days and I would recommend them highly.

just like I remember them

  • By: Joanne Verified Buyer from Hermiston, OR US on August 5, 2013

I used Glad Rags many years ago, before menopause. I now use them for incontinence and they are the same high quality I remember. Thank you for making a product I can rely on.

I am so glad that I found this product. My only regret it that I didn't make the decision to go with Glad Rags years ago. Thank you!!

Pleasantly surprised!

  • By: Busy Mom Verified Buyer from St. Clair, PA US on July 19, 2013

So after the first day using the daypads I'm really happy. After the second, I'm thrilled. The daypads are incredibly soft and washed up amazingly well. They are still super soft after washing. With other commercial pads I would experience irritation and/or rashes, including the more "natural brands". I did not experience any of that with Gladrags. I'm definitely buying the liners and another set of the daypads. OMG! Incredibly comfortable product. Super absorbant!. No leaks at all, especially since this was a bad cycle. I went on the side of caution and used 2 liners instead of 1 and would have been fine with 1 liner. They were so comfortable it was kind of like sitting on a pillow. Right now I'm sold.
