Measures approximately 8.5" long by 3" wide when snapped around your underwear.
Many of you love our pantyliner, but needed extra coverage. Enter the GladRags Pantyliner Plus! The most comfortable solution for light flow, menstrual cup back-up, or every day use, this slim pantyliner provides plenty of light absorbency coverage without any bulk.
How to Use
To Use GladRags Washable Menstrual Pads:
1. Turn your GladRags Pantyliner over. Snap it around your underwear. The tag side goes next to your underwear and the smooth side goes next to your body.
2. Change your pantyliner about as often as you would change a disposable pantyliner.
3. Follow care instructions for washing.
Cleaning & Care
Soak in cold water to help prevent staining. Adding an enzyme cleaner to the soaking water may help protect against staining. Machine wash cold and tumble dry low using natural soap or detergent; please do not use chlorine bleach. You may hand wash pads if desired. Remove pads from dryer promptly and store flat to eliminate wrinkling; use cool iron if desired. Store your pads in a clean, dry area.
When away from home, place your used pads in a GladRags Carry Bag or Wet Bag until you return home, then wash per care instructions.
Cotton flannel, cotton terrycloth, organic cotton care label, nickel-free snap.
Are GladRags comfortable?
Yes! All cotton GladRags are soft and breathable, which is so much better than plastic pads that can chafe and irritate your skin.
Our customer Nicole had this to say about trying GladRags:
“I just wanted to send you a line of appreciation. I love Glad Rags. I just started to use them. I cannot believe I waited this long! I am sold!! I am a lifer now. They are so comfortable and easy on my skin. I love how they feel like regular clothing. It is like nothing is there.”
If you are raw and irritated at the end of your period, please know that it does not have to be that way! With all of our pads you will experience the comfort and breatheability of cotton. The soft flannel conforms to your body without the twisting and bunching up that can happen with disposables. And because there is no plastic backing you will have less chafing and irritation. One of our customers reports they're much cooler too (she's from Phoenix, she would know).
Where are GladRags made?
GladRags are manufactured in Portland, Oregon, USA.
Sometimes people ask us why we don't manufacture in another country in order to lower our prices. We believe that keeping manufacturing local and within the United States is important to our economic security as a nation, and we like that we have full control over our facilities to ensure that GladRags are made in a safe environment where workers are treated fairly. Plus, keeping manufacturing local keeps our environmental footprint lower by reducing our shipping needs.
Do GladRags cost more than disposables?
No, they're actually much less expensive. When compared to the amount of money spent on disposables, it only takes a few years to make up the cost of your GladRags. They are made to last 5+ years. Many women tell us they still use the same pads they bought when we started in 1993! Think of this: it would be tremendously expensive (not to mention wasteful!) to continuously re-stock our kitchens with disposable paper plates, so we buy plates that we can use indefinitely. We make an initial investment into something reusable that will last a long time. It's the same idea with GladRags!

Exactly what I was looking for
By: Love Reusables! from Anchorage, AK US on October 23, 2013
"So glad these are available - They are just the amount of coverage and absorbency I wanted. They are not at all bulky, but still feel like secure menstrual cup back-up, and for spotting and everyday. The shape keeps them from shifting, though they are wider than the regular pads, so it depends what underwear you use them with. They work perfectly with the Hanes ComfortSoft stretch cotton underwear I wear every day, which is full cut and almost 3 inches across at the narrowest part, but they quickly slid back when I tried them with my Icebreaker merino wool hipsters (similar cut but not much more than 2 1/2 inches). Some of the snaps are stiff, I hope they loosen a bit with use."
An excellent addition to my collection!

"I have a few of the shorter pantyliners, which are great. But every now and then (heavier first days) I could use more coverage, but I don't want a full pad (because I'm using a diva cup...I just need backup protection). This longer pantyliner is perfect for those days! I use the long one on the first days, and the shorter ones after that. And the new fabric? Guh! GORGEOUS! Is it wrong to admire your pantyliners so much? :)"
I Really like these Pantyliners
By: Farm Girl from Georgetown, TN US on February 14, 2014
"These long panty liners are so nice! These are by far better than disposable panty liners, so soft and comfortable you can almost forget you are wearing one. I think that Gladrags long panty liners are much better sized and fitting than the regular panty liners, and I highly recommend them."
Best Gladrag yet!
By: kapehorn from Boise, ID US on January 16, 2014
"The longer pantyliners are perfect - just right when a standard pantyliner isn't enough, but a full pad-and-liner would be too much. Comfortable cloth, beautiful patterns to choose from, and the product quality that Gladrags is known for - I just can't thank them enough for offering such a great alternative! "
By: onomatopoeia from Portland, OR US on February 27, 2014
"I only wish I had ordered more of these! If you have tried the regular pantyliners and have been disappointed, these are MUCH better. They are longer (but not too long) and not as bulky. I would say they are about equivalent in length as a regular, conventional, disposable pantyliner (but of course much better). I wash mine in the washing machine and line dry, and they have held up well."

Great for pregnancy
By: Moose from St Louis, MO US on December 22, 2013
"Half way through my second pregnancy I started having some minor leaks. These pads were just the right length , thickness and absorbency. I liked the fabric English Rose very much. The colors are much more vibrant than how they show up on my computer."
