Awesome Deal!

  • By: April Harvey Verified Buyer from Landstuhl Army Base, DE on October 18, 2014

This is a great way to get a supply of cloth pads going! This supply kit is good along with the sea sponges just to have options so you're not locked into only sponges or only pads, plus you can do a kind of hybrid. I love the pantyliners for everyday. I am a size 12 and even when I was smaller (younger) size 8 I liked longer pads so this would always be my choice. It really depends on your undergarments and your pad preferences which you choose. I liked having the laundry bag just for the pads and the little soak pot is nice sized kind of like a small child's soccer ball with a lid. I am very happy with the whole kit. Thanks Gladrags!

so much more comfortable

  • By: Mugs Verified Buyer from Boulder, US on September 1, 2014

My motivation is a worsening latex & chemical allergy. The consequence is that disposable pads have become uncomfortable, giving me a light rash. These Glad Rags are more comfortable than I recall disposables being, before I developed an allergic reaction. The care is easy with this kit. The overhead is minimal: drop the used pads into the bucket & on occasion wash. The pads come out slightly wrinkled, but simply running hands over to flatten is sufficient for comfort. Because these are soft cotton, they don't develop the odd folds that some cloth can.

absolutely wonderful

  • By: virginia mom Verified Buyer from Louisa, VA US on June 30, 2015

I have been delighted with these pads and the kit had everything I needed. I had tried reusable pads in the past and was disappointed. They were constantly shifting on me and had plastic lining. I love that your pads snap and are all cotton. Washing is no big deal as I usually have to wash some of my panties every cycle anyway. I also got sores and tried numerous ways to correct this. Since I have started using your pads, this has not been an issue. I feel much cleaner and know I am helping the environment as well. I have two daughters and will most definitely have them use your pads when they reach that time. Thanks again.

Nice way to get started on reusable pads, but consider sizing

  • By: Amelie Verified Buyer from Tulsa, OK US on November 23, 2015

• I picked the "plus" kit because who doesn't like extra coverage? However, I am on the petite side and it was just too much fabric to fit between my legs. Customer service was very nice about letting me exchange the pads I hadn't washed for the regular size, which worked just fine. I plan on using the plus day pad I had for nighttime. • Speaking of nighttime wear, the night pad is a monster! My flow is not that heavy and I don't think I'll be using it regularly. • I purchased the organic cotton option. The GladRags website suggests that ironing is optional; however, I would disagree in the case of the organic pads. They come out of my dryer balled up into little tight blood-soaking fists. The ironing is not a big deal at all, but it may be a deal breaker for you. • I found the pantyliners a little uncomfortable on my extremely light flow days. Perhaps there was not enough moisture?

Great Starter Kit!

  • By: Skylar Rose Verified Buyer from Nashville, TN US on April 28, 2016

This was the first thing I purchased from GladRags, and my first foray into the world of cloth pads. It's a great starter kit that allows you to try all the different absorbances and lengths. Also, I love the extras it includes like the soaking pot and wet bag! I highly recommend trying it out!

Excellent Quality

  • By: Happy Verified Buyer from Mount Airy, MD US on January 27, 2016

High quality product and easy to clean! I switched from disposable to these due to irritation that disposable pads were giving me. The more I read about the chemicals in disposable pads, the more I just wanted a cotton pad. These are incredibly comfortable and easy to care for- no stains if you put the used pad in the pot of water and do laundry at least every other day. Great product and company. Thank you!

LOVE!

  • By: stefuni Verified Buyer from Austin, TX US on December 13, 2016

After using traditional monthly pads for so many years I felt it was time for a change. I love these!!! I also use liners daily and this is the best alternative ever! I will be sharing the love of your products with as many people as possible.. my husband thinks the idea is kind of ick but as someone who has had to clean blood from underwear because the throw-away kind leaked or just didn't cut it... this is a much better and healthier alternative.
