This stain remover has an amazing smell and it works very well for soaking! On my lazy days when I don't feel like hand washing my pads right after using them, I apply a generous amount of Bac-Out on the stain, and then in my soaking water with soap. Sometimes the stains begin to fade as soon as the liquid touches the stain! I also like to use it on stains on thin shorts or underwear. After soaking when I go to clean and rinse my pads, the smell my pads have after smells soooo fresh and clean. The scent, and the fresh smell it gives my pads after using it is the icing on the cake for me.
Excellent for soaking pads, and is really effective for removing stains. I have multiple bottles (bathroom, kitchen, laundry room) and have found that it's really great for all kinds of stains around the house in addition to cleaning my pads. Smells really nice!
I purchased this when I first began my cloth pad lifestyle and I have been in love with it ever since. First of all, it smells so clean. I actually really love the smell of it. I put a few squirts of it in my soaking bucket and have no stains on my pads. It also smells good every time I open the bucket to deposit a new pad. The soaking water seems to stay fresh longer with this. I also use it on any other laundry that is soiled, like cloth diapers, reusable nipple pads, and anything the dog slept on too long. I just squirt a little bit in the washer and let things soak a bit before washing them through. I will definitely purchase again and again.
I don't know if I'm using this wrong but I haven't had any luck with this product. I soaked my pads with it right after they come off but the stain never comes out. I'm going back to using a bit of sodium percarbonate in water to soak them in, that works better for me.
I am able to buy this locally so i went that route, but it is a very hard working stain remover! I have even had luck with old stains that i gave up on a long time ago..i gave it a shot on them and most are now gone. I find this works best for me when used first, left to soak, and followed by Buncha Farmers stick if the stain is very stubborn. Also works great for my husband's smelly shirts that never seemed to let go of funk! Bought multiple times.
I was surprised how well this product worked! Along with cold water, even the light colored pads are left stain-free.
