Our COVID-19 updates

March 25th update:
Our sewing team is on paid leave this week while they assess how best to return to production in a way that is safe for themselves and our community. We expect production to resume on March 31st.
Items marked "back-ordered" will ship when available. As of today, we expect that to be in the first two weeks of April, depending on the item. Orders will ship in the sequence they were placed, inventory permitting.
In-stock items are shipping on our regular schedule of 1 to 2 business days. If your order contains both in-stock and back-ordered items, we are continuing to ship available items now and the back-ordered items when available at no additional cost to you.
Thank you so much for your support and your patience. We appreciate our GladRags community, and we're grateful to be able to provide you with reusable menstrual supplies so you can stay home.

March 21st update:
We are working hard to maintain updated inventory levels on our website. Items marked "Back-ordered" will ship when available. As of today, we expect that to be approximately 2 to 3 weeks depending on the ability of our sewing team to safely work. If you have other items in your order that are available to ship now, we will ship those items as soon as possible and ship the backordered items later at no additional cost to you.
If you have purchased an item where the color is no longer in stock, we will attempt to contact you via email regarding a substitution. If we are unable to reach you within 1 business day, we will ship a substitute color to you to ensure you receive your supplies in a timely manner.
Again, I thank you for your understanding and your patience as we work to get you the essential menstrual supplies you need.

March 20th update:
Dear GladRags community:
In this time of great unknowns, I want to share with you what information I can. I will continue to update this page as the situation progresses.
GladRags is still operational. Orders are being shipped out, emails answered, and calls returned. We intend to operate as long as it is both safe and legal to do so.
In order to practice social distancing and flatten the curve, I am the only person physically going to GladRags HQ to pack and ship orders. The rest of the team is working from home. 
Our local sewing partner is also facing many unknowns as our city grapples with how best to slow the spread of the novel coronavirus and keep our community safe. Eventually, this may lead to some inventory disruptions for us. For the moment, that has not occurred, but we are preparing for it.
How you can help: 
1. Continue placing your orders, and have patience as I work to get them to you! Your orders mean we can continue to run payroll, pay health insurance, and produce the menstrual products you rely on.
2. Stay home and practice social distancing NOW. This is the only way we can beat this, and we’re all in this together. 
3. Be kind. Find ways to help, whether that’s sending money to a friend who just lost their job or cheering up your grandma with a video call. There are so many ways to show up for one another, even in isolation. 
GladRags has been through many ups and downs in our 27 years of business. We will weather this storm, too. We love you and we thank you for your support. Special thanks to the many customers who have left sweet notes in their order comments - you give me faith.
