So, I really wanted to like these. I’ve used reusable period pads for many years and this was my first time using organic cotton Glad Rags. Well… the absorbency speed is kind of terrible. I haven’t had a bad period leak for many years while sleeping and that happened to me in the early hours this morning (I’m a side sleeper) with this night pad. Feeling all the blood flowing down onto my sheets woke me up. I will say that I don’t even have heavy periods. I think I’d be qualified as more of a light to medium flow person. I think I’ll only feel comfortable using these pads near the end of my period on my lightest days.

PROS:
- Comfortable
- No smell due to breathable material
- Good on skin

CONS:
- Absorbency speed stinks
- Soft material bunches and side leaks are more likely while walking around in the day
- The undyed cotton looks stained even after being cleaned.

I love these pads and have been using these pads for years.

Love these but they are pricey.

These are the BEST pads for my heavy flow nights! They're long enough to catch the back leaks I tend to have, and easily absorb all my over night flow. They're soft and durable--I used my old GladRags for ten years and they're still in surprisingly good condition! Just a bit threadbare and not as soft as new ones, so I decided to restock. They do get a bit stained after that long, but that doesn't bother me because they're doing exactly what they're meant for. All in all LOVE these pads, and love the new color options with the organic pads! (Purple toned plaid? Sold!)

Highest quality and durability. These dependable workhorses are getting me through my unpredictable menopausal periods. Plus they make me feel so proud of helping the earth--a lift that always encourages me through the heavy flow, inconvenient timing, etc., etc. I adore Gladrags' cute prints, but the creamy white fabric of the Organics is serenely and supremely calming. Truly a world class product & my top Gladrags pick.

I wear these night or day! They are super absorbent and great for overnight or when I need to lay down for a while (acupuncture, massage appt etc) where a regular pad would leak. Love the coverage!

Gone are the days when I wake up in a cold sweat, worried that I have ruined my underwear, my pajamas, and my bedsheets. This pad is the ultimate in nightime period security. It's also great for when I'm having a heavy flow during the day and am worried about getting to take enough breaks to change my pad frequently. I truly wish I had found these earlier -- I'm just glad I found them when I did!

I have been exclusively using a menstrual cup for years. After having a child, I found I needed a little extra protection as my periods were heavier. I bought all the GladRags pad sizes to have the option to forego the menstrual cup if I wanted for a period cycle. They are all wonderful! I don't wear the liners with silky underwear as they slide a little. They don't slide on cotton underwear. The organic cotton pads are SO COMFORTABLE! I will be using these for my second child postpartum instead of the disposable pads from the hospital. Thank you GladRags for making such a wonderful product that I will use for years and prevent unnecessary waste to be sent to the landfill.

These were so comfortable and perfect during postpartum recovery. And I could just throw them in with the cloth diapers to wash! I would highly recommended them!

I bought my first Glad Rag at my local hometown health store, Natures Cupboard. I only got one & that's all they had( at the time). It's a good thing it was the overnight organic. I truly need overnight size, sometimes even for daytime. I'm really impressed with this rag, as there's been no leakage anytime I've worn it. It's So Comfy . I love the organic cotton. So soft. I know I'm doing something good for my body And the environment. I'm also impressed with how I can handwash ( or pre-rinse before machine wash) and it's still looking good; like no staining or discoloration after multiple uses. I'm a 40 something busy mom of 3, with fairly heavy flow. Hope this review helps someone considering to purchase. I'm so Glad I did, because it's totally worth it ❣

I love these organic night pads. The only issue I have with them is that they have stained a bit. Doesn't bother me and nobody else sees them, so no biggie.

I simply love this Product -After using disposable pads that contained chemicals that gave me more allergy reactions and rashes, I had to find something different to use than these disposable pads as a buyer at the store. GladRag was the rescue and I have been very pleased with this product, which makes one save both money and the environment at one and the same time.

This Gladrags pad is great. I decided to stop using tampons since they are full of chemicals, so I needed larger pads for nighttime. These are rather bulky like a diaper or Super pad, but they certainly do prevent both front & back leaks! Although they are large, they don't leave me chafed or uncomfortable. Mine are lightly stained already, but they wash easily and do not smell. If they seem to slide around, secure it to your underwear gusset with a small safety pin. The best thing about Gladrags is their dedication to sustainability and ethical business practices through the entire transaction. It was delivered in recyclable plant-based plastic and the pads are made in USA!

These are great!!!!! used these right after having baby and love them not irritation like I get with regular pads and not bunchy like some other cotton pads I have tried using. These are A++++ compared to others. Love them. Easy to wash and dry. Love the starter pack also. Great for heavy bleeding. have not leaked once yet and I have been using two weeks post baby so far.

I love the snap on the organic night pad. I bought others and they were slips ins so not as much fun as this. I was overwhelmed by the prospect of re-using my pads because of the maintenance! BUT after getting used to it I was happy to have started with the long organic night pad. Very plush!

This was the first reusable pad that I bought and I am never going back to disposables. It has a large area of coverage which keeps me super protected throughout the night since I'm a crazy sleeper who is constantly tossing, turning, and flailing their limbs about all night. They're simple, work really well, sustainable, and economical. Here's to nights of wild sleeping and waking up to stain free periwinkle sheets!

I agree with others that for once I am actually looking forward to my period, too. These are very comfortable and more secure, providing more protection than disposable pads. And the way that you can customize them with how many liners you need is excellent, too.

Covers all the way to the front, all the way to the back- kind of in the way of the pamper-. Curves through the legs, very padded, and ComForTABle!!! Is very absorbent and hefty - in a way of the cloths stitch and original density.

I was using the organic disposable overnight pads for day and night, although they were unscented they still seemed to have a slight scented odor that bothered me. Now these glad rags have no scent, it only took a couple of months to get used to the different feel of them, and washing. Now I love them!

I am a 320 lb plus size lady who has always experienced a heavy flow, 5-6 days per cycle. I love the night gladrags for day time use, as well night. They're very soft against the skin!! I ordered the organic one first, as I am sensitive to most store, throw away products. Loved it so much I just ordered 9 more gladrags. Never going back to those bleached, garbage fillers again. Thanks so much for the great product, only wish I had discovered them earlier.
