Black Parent Initiative (BPI) was established in 2006 to help families achieve financial, educational and spiritual success. It is the only culturally-specific, community-based, non-profit organization in Oregon focused solely on supporting Black/African American families with children 0-10 in the State of Oregon.

The Trevor Project

The Trevor Project is the world’s largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning) young people.

The Kwek Society

The Kwek Society is a volunteer-run non-profit focused on supplying Native students and communities the period products they need to maintain their dignity and celebrate their strength and their moon times. They collaborate with schools and Native programs across North America, in rural areas, suburbs and cities, to eliminate period poverty among Native Americans.

One Tree Planted

One Tree Planted is a non-profit organization focused on global reforestation. Their vision is to make it simple for anyone to help the environment by planting trees. They plant one tree with every dollar donated. They have planted over 40 million trees in more than 43 countries across the globe since 2014. In 2021, they more than doubled their impact from 2020 - with 23.5 million trees!

Rose Haven

Rose Haven is a day shelter and community center serving women, children and gender non-conforming folks experiencing the trauma of abuse, loss of home and other disruptive life challenges. They break the cycle of homelessness by providing meals, clothing, first aid, mailing addresses, hygiene, restrooms, showers as well as educational programs and guidance through medical and social services. By meeting basic needs and building trust, they empower their guests to explore long-term change.

The White Dress Project

The White Dress Project raises global awareness about the uterine fibroid epidemic through education, research, community, and advocacy. Led by people who have experienced uterine fibroids first-hand, The White Dress Project advocates for research funding, highlights reproductive health inequities, and empowers patients to advocate for their best health and no longer suffer in silence. SMYRC at New Avenues for Youth

New Avenues for Youth is a Portland-based nonprofit organization dedicated to the prevention and intervention of youth homelessness. They’ve been hard at work for over 30 years, and their programs have served nearly 30,000 young people as they work to overcome barriers, pursue their goals, and realize their potential. From supporting basic needs like meals and counseling to providing opportunities for education, job training, employment, and housing, they meet youth where they are—and help them get where they want to go. The Sexual & Gender Minority Youth Resource Center (SMYRC) at New Avenues provides culturally specific support for LGBTQIA2s+ youth.

The Bridge Collective

The Bridge Collective is an all-volunteer, consensus-based, non-hierarchical organization providing practical support to Central Texans seeking abortion care and reproductive health resources. They help provide transportation and accommodations for Central Texans with abortion appointments as well as emergency contraception and pregnancy tests, all free of charge!
