Even though no one else can see it, I love having a cute design on my pads!

I’ve been using GladRags since a little after they opened in 1993 after giving birth to my second child. First for menses, now for mild-moderate incontinence.
I would recommend trying them!! They work FANTASTIC!

The pads are not wide enough for even small briefs - and larger snaps would be nice. Otherwise I think the general concepts are great.

This pad is so small that after laundering its barely big enough to be used as a panty liner. It fails to collect like it should- it misses the point of being a pad. This is too small. Almost heart broken. I really needed pads.

These are the best for sensitive skin! Gone is the inevitable diaper rash when using plastic lined pads! Soft and soothing, they are also better for the environment!

I was always super chafed with disposable pads after a week of wearing them. I tried these reusable pads and I love them so much! No chafing, they’re soft and comfortable. They don’t feel like you’re wearing a diaper. I could barely feel them. I’ve used them through two periods now and I don’t think I’ll ever go back to disposable pads.

I found these when I was in college and am so glad I did! I have had some of the day pads for over 10 years, and while they’ve never been my primary protection for a whole period, I do like having the option. I don’t find that they move too much, which might be anatomy/underwear style specific? They definitely feel different from disposables, but in my experience that’s been a positive.
Now that my friends are having kids, I point them your way for postpartum pads. I’m *glad* you’re still going strong :)

I really wanted to like these. However, they don’t stay in place very well, and it’s worrisome to have a pad moving around like they do. They also bunch up a bit. I’d really only feel good about using them if I’m home or able to adjust them regularly. I do have to say, though, that the fabric is soft.

Works well for me and helps the environment! Don't have to worry about leaks! (I use it with tampon or menstrual cup & period panty.) I recommend it!

Well, I got the day pad at natural grocers to try as I have never tried reusable ones before except for diva cup. And I’m really disappointed. I would expect these to work but within several hours everything soaked through to the panty (and I don’t even have a heavy flow at all, used 2 inserts) and I’m glad I was at home otherwise would have had an embarrassing accident. For the high price for one pad I would think that they’d insert a waterproof layer of sorts. I honestly don’t understand how all these women are using these without constant leakage without any waterproof material.. very strange indeed. I will try the ones that actually have protection from that disaster and much cheaper than $17 for a pad that leaks through!

I'm someone who is very concerned about the environment, and I passionately hate single-use, disposable, plastic products and try to avoid these at all costs. I'm 70 years old and suffer from occasional small urinary leaks at night if I can't quite get to the bathroom in time. These pads are ideal for this, and in fact I think the company should advertise them as such, not just for menstrual needs. I bought mine about a year ago and have used them ever since, usually with just one pad inserted into the holder. Now I'm thinking of buying some as a gift for my sister.

I was surprised by how much more comfortable these pads are compared to disposable pads. It feels like you just have a thicker pair of underwear on due to them being made of cotton. The cloth pads, with the inserts, are so absorbent you don't need any plastic barriers, which adds to the comfort.
The breathability is also nice, as I find these have less of an odor than disposable pads, as the disposable ones have the plastic barrier that holds in all that scent.

I bought the value kit pads and the pads are wonderful! The day pads with the 2 inserts are thinner than the standard maxi pad, and using the 2 inserts work well for extra heavy days. The day pads also work well for light urinary incontinence or for light lochia post-partum. Also, soaking the pads and/or inserts in witch hazel and freezing them also feel nice after having a baby - just make sure you have something waterproof or a thick towel under you so you don't soak the bed as it melts.
There was no smell like regular disposable pads, and my skin did not get irritated at all. I also had no stinky period disposable pads in my bathroom! Care for the pads isn't bad either - I just soak them overnight or handwash in my sink or when I shower. I truly wish I had known about Glad Rags 20 years ago, because 20 years of irritated and itchy vag skin with disposable pads have been horrible. The cloth on the pads are like soft flannel and feels like normal cotton underwear. They don't bunch up and don't feel or look bulky at all.
Also, the carry bags are super durable and double stitched on the inseams. I highly recommend the cloth pads and am glad to have tried them this year when the stores ran out of menstrual products during the pandemic. I'm never going back to disposables!

I was almost out of disposable pads during coronavirus pandemic and not able to buy more due to food (and other) shortages in my area. I was calling friends to see if they had any they could drop off to help me through my period. I was literally scrambling for some alternative to disposables when I came across Gladrags. I am so glad I did! I wish I had found Gladrags 20 years ago. Shipping was fast, with a nice smiley face on my invoice and they arrived just in time. I had nothing else to use. Cloth pads are so comfortable. I almost forgot to change it because I forgot I was on my period. I'm actually looking forward to my next cycle so I can use my Gladrags again. Thanks so much for being a lifesaver during this challenging time and making one aspect of my life easy! I will not purchase disposables again even when they become available. I will be using Gladrags until I hit menopause!

I really love this concept and have purchased the day and night pad. So far both of them have bunched up and caused irritation. It seems like the width of the liner is way too big for my underwear. I’m sad because I was looking forward to being able to waste less.

I don't have a super heavy flow (birth contraception tends to do that), but I'm amazed that one of these lasts me all day. I got this as a means to reduce my carbon footprint while I was on vacation. I was amazed at how little garbage I made by the end of my vacation. I'm very happy I made this investment.

I decided to try cloth pads in order to produce less waste. I was a little worried that they wouldn't stay in place, as I have that problem a lot with disposable sticky pads. But, they stayed in place just fine and I pretty much forgot I was even wearing a pad!

So happy to have found this company and to be using their products! This is my second green period. The cotton is soft and feels great against my skin - easy to wash! Highly recommend for a green cycle.

The first thing I'll say is that the patterns are absolutely adorable - so much so that I was excited to use the pads!
The next step was rougher. I'm used to pantyliners, and the daypad (with one liner inside) is way puffier than I was expecting - more like a maxi pad than what I'm used to. The material is luxuriously soft, though.
But my biggest issue is the sliding. After 20 minutes the dang thing had slid all the way back and was riding up my bum. I kept trying different things, starting it more forward, trying to hitch my pants a certain way while I walked, even changing my gait, but there was nothing for it. At one point the pad flipped all the way around, putting the snap side right up against the flow! Alas, I don't think these pads are for me. One of my friends suggested that the gusset on my preferred panties is too thin for GladRags, so that's something to consider. (She wears boyshorts; I prefer hiphuggers.)

I made the switch to cloth pads a few months ago. I've never been a big fan of tampons, and disposable pads have always left my skin irritated and uncomfortable. I had been thinking about buying cloth pads for a couple years but wasn't sure if they would work well and it seemed like a little to much money.
I bought 3 of the day pads and I am so glad I finally did. They are soft and comfortable. I no longer get the horrible irritation that I used to endure every month.
The most impressive thing about them is how absorbent they are. With the 2 inserts, I put one in at the beginning of the day and don't change it until I go to bed that night, and even on a heavy flow day, there is absolutely no leakage. I can't believe how much they absorb.
After I take out the pad I rinse it in the sink, then once my period is over I just toss them in the wash with my regular laundry.
TL;DR: super absorbent, super comfortable. I definitely recommend.

I've used these for three cycles now and I love them! They wash easily, hang-dry overnight in my house, and they don't smell bad. Well ok they smell a little like blood when they have blood on them of course but they don't smell rancid/rotten at all, and honestly they don't smell of blood any more strongly than unscented disposable pads do.
I pair them with my menstrual cup and although a little usually makes it through to my Gladrags on my heavy days, the pads haven't gotten anywhere close to leaking.
I'm so thankful to have found sustainable, comfortable, functional, cute pads!

The prints are super cute and the cloth is soft ( I forget I am using one ). As for the packaging it is close to zero waste which is always a great start. It also shipped to my house fast and got to me in no time at all. I am going to have a hard time using anything ells.

I started using Glad Rags when my first born was only months old, he is 16 now. My 14 year old daughter uses them and when their time comes, my younger 3 daughters will use them. They are excellent quality; I'm still using ones from my first purchase in 2002. They are comfortable and breathable. I've tried other brands for kicks, but they didn't last, and my preference was always the Glad Rags.

I tried 1 layer for riding a bike 4 miles on my 2nd day of period . It didn’t hold up and stained my pants. I also don’t like that the pads tend to move so I feel something bulky in my panties

I love the pantyliners and so I jumped in with the monthly subscription to build my supply of day pads. They are so comfortable. I really like them. My only complaint is they slide back as I move throughout my day. I have to pull them forward into place often. Esp if I am walking g around a lot. It would be great if they could somehow be anchored to stay in place front to back. I am going to try a safety pin next cycle.

I have been using this brand exclusively for at least 12 years now and they are wonderful! I have recently been updating my old stock. Not because my old ones are worn out, but because "ooooh... pretty colors"! Also, the pantyliners are great, too!
